
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs- Pham Thu Hang has confirmed the update in Vietnam visa exempt which is valid from March 2025.
- New updated points in Vietnam visa exempt policy 2025:
From August 2023, all travelers are from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus has been extended visa-free duration from 15 days to 45 days without Vietnam visa.
Besides, on 13th February 2025 Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs- Pham Thu Hang has confirmed and answered journalists that Vietnam Government has promulgated the Resolution no.11. According to this Resolution, all citizens of Switzerland, Poland and Czech Republic does not need Vietnam visa if they stay in Vietnam for less than 45 days. This policy will be valid from 1st March 2025 to 31st December 2025. - Can I arrive in Vietnam without a visa?
You must have a visa before travelling to Vietnam (by applying online) if you are not in the visa exemption list.
Recently, you can apply online to get Vietnam visa which is valid for 1 month or up to 3 months.

From 2024, you do not have to show Vaccination records or Health Declaration like in the time of Covid-19.
Therefore, all required travel documents for Vietnam trip include: Passport which valid more than 6 months, Vietnam e-visa or Vietnam visa on arrival.
