Vietnam e-visa 90 days 2023 | Vietnam 3 month -e visa

On 24^th June 2023 the National Assembly of Vietnam has approved 3 month-e visa policy which will be effective from 15^th August 2023.

1. Who are eligible to apply for Vietnam e-visa 90 days?

• Despite the purpose of business or travel, all citizens of below countries are granted to apply 3 month-Vietnam visa online.

Asia and Pacific: Australia, American Samoa, Bhutan, Myanmar, Mongolia, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Cambodia, Japan, India, British Indian Ocean Territory, Guam.

Europe: Andorra, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Greenland, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Monaco, Republic of Moldova, Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, San Marino, Serbia.

North America: United States of America

South/Latin America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Cuba, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela.

• Travelers obtain passport which is valid more than 1 year.
• Who obtain work permit, introduction letter, legal documents of enterprises. These documents are required if you want to get 3 month-visa type with the purpose of Business only. In case you want to get 3 month-visa with the purpose of Tourist, only passport scan and passport photo are necessary.

2. Types of Vietnam e-visa 90 days

It is categorized in 2 types: single-entry and multiple-entry types.

Single entry-visa holders: eligible to enter and exit out of Vietnam for only 1 time, stay for less than 90 days.

Multiple entry-visa obtainers be able to enter and exit out of Vietnam for many times    until the visa is expired. Of course, this visa type is also valid for 90 days.    

3. How to apply for Vietnam e-visa 90 days

First Step : access to the online application form and fill information which must be matched to your passport one.

Second Step: settle payment online.

Third: check mailbox and send required documents via email.

Next: get result via email, check information again.

Final step: download the result and print it out. Showing passport, e-visa result at the Immigration desk upon arrival.

4. Can you extend visa if your 90 day- Vietnam visa is expired?

Whether You can extend your visa without leaving out of Vietnam or not, it is based on each individual case.

By this, the Immigration may require related documents differently on each individual condition.

Please extend your visa before it is expired. If you overstay, you must pay a fine to the Immigration or may be restricted on future travel to Vietnam.
