You want to take off a journey alone and wonder “is Vietnam safe?” -millions of travelers said yes.
If you are thinking that travelling alone is the best way to see the world then you are deliberately a solo traveler. However, there are two big concerns that solo-folks always need to take into consideration. First is safety and second is a bit tangible such as “is it a happy place and you can easily to interact with locals?”. Interestingly, Vietnam is a such country that solo travelers need!
Vietnam is a safe destination that many presidents world-wide chose to visit. In particular, the 42nd president of United States-William Jefferson Clinton has visited Vietnam for 3 times from 2000 to 2010. After that, the presidency of George W.Bush, Barack Obama also visited Vietnam for many times.
Interestingly, Vietnam has become a second venue of meeting between president of United States- Donald John Trump and Kim Jong Un -Supreme Leader of North Korea. This will be held in Vietnam in the end of February 2019.
So… what is interesting?
President Obama “I have never seen so many motorbikes in my life”. In fact, it must be new experience for those who come from developed countries for the first time to see transportation system in Vietnam especially in rush hours.
Not only that Vietnam is a paradise of street food with a cheap cost. In deed all foreigners can feel they are Kings because they are able to afford all foods and services in Vietnam.
Vietnam- the only country in the world uses coffee with egg!
Interestingly, Egg coffee (Cà Phê Trứng) is voted as 1 out of 17 types of coffee that you should try one time in the world. This is listed by Buzzfeed- a famous irrelevant news and entertainment website of US.
Egg coffee is relatively cheap, it costs around 20.000-25.000 VND. Obviously, the egg coffee contains 2 distinct layers of black coffee and whipped egg foam on the top. However, it must be said that it is more than recipe the egg coffee first appeared by the secret of a family in Hanoi. Therefore, let’s discover the taste by your feeling.
Vietnam- where many floating markets exist! It is true, you can try to go shopping on a wooden boat at Cai Be floating market or Nga Bay in Hau Giang,Nga Nam in Soc Trang province. Also, in An Giang province there is Long Xuyen market or Cai Rang floating market in Can Tho province. Floating market is the unique of Me Kong country side. Therefore, if you go to Vietnam without visiting floating market as you have missed your chance. In specific, you can find not only special stand food on the boats but also veggies, fruit but also animal such as turtles, birds and even lizards.

Take a boat-trip to discover Trang An
In order to go to Trang An, you have two options take a bus or drive a motorbike by yourself. However, if you enter Vietnam for 1st time we recommend you to take a bus for safe. Trang An is famous as Ha Long Bay on land, Trang An also has many caves that you can explore by boat without coming back by the same road. In the other hand, compared to Tam Coc which has many rice fields Trang An is more amazing.
Explore Hoi An ancient town– UNESCO World Heritage in Quang Nam- Da Nang
Check out Ong Lang beach in Phu Quoc
Ong Lang beach (Bai Ong Lang) is located in the western coast of Phu Quoc Island. The most important point here is that the sea is clear and greenish-blue in color which is bit different with beaches at coastal areas of mainland. Also, it must be a wonderful destination for those who love shore snorkeling and kayak.
Suba-diving in Nha Trang
The best season to dive is from April to August, we make sure you must feel satisfied by the colorful sea creatures together with coral reef here. The price of diving is variety but it is approximately $60 in average per person includes equipment rental and lunch.
Trekking in Sapa
Nowadays, visiting Sapa is not difficult and dangerous like in the past. There are two option of transportation for you: train and bus. It is recommend you to combine between train and bus. In particular, you take an overnight sleeper train firstly to Lao Cai then going on a van or bus to Sapa with 1 hour drive.
It’s worth to mention to trekking tour’s role in this case if you want to conquer the Peak of Fansipa Mountain. Why? Because it is “the roof of Indochina” with the height of 3143 meters and takes at least 2 days.
